Panelists:

  • Cyril Ray (Naval Academy Research, France)
  • Dr. Cyril Ray is an associate professor in computer science at Arts & Métiers – ParisTech and Naval Academy Research Institute (IRENav) in France. He obtained a Ph.D. from University of Rennes 1 in 2003 on the design of distributed simulation for transportation systems. His current research is oriented to the modeling and design of location-based services applied to human mobility, maritime and urban transportation systems.

  • Heba Aly (Amazon, USA)
  • Dr Heba Aly is a research scientist at Amazon, USA. She got her PhD in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2019, and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University. While her research solves fundamental problems in mobile/ubiquitous computing and spatial systems, it also addresses real-world problems covering diverse application domains including health-care, intelligent transportation systems and geo-target advertising, among others.
